Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
  • Employ innovative and evidence-based teaching methodologies.
  • Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical and academic settings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, review, and improvement.
  • Mentor junior faculty and students in teaching and academic pursuits.
• Research and Scholarship:
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in a specialized area of dentistry.
  • Secure external research funding through grants and collaborations (with increasing independence).
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed dental and related journals.
  • Present research at national and international conferences.
  • Mentor junior researchers and students in research projects.
• Clinical Practice (if applicable):
  • Maintain an active clinical practice in a specialized area of dentistry, providing high-quality patient care and serving as a clinical role model.
  • Supervise and guide students and residents in clinical settings.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Service and Administration:
  • Serve on departmental, school/college, and university committees.
  • Contribute to departmental governance and decision-making processes.
  • Participate in accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Engage in professional organizations and contribute to the dental profession.
  • May take on leadership roles within the department or school/college.
