| Job Description: |
- Responsibilities includes designing, maintenance, implementation & administration of databases in different data centers
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of large database servers on UNIX/Linux/Sun Solaris platforms
- Management of database servers and devising backup strategies i.e. zero level, incremental backups using ontape & crontab utility, dbexport/dbimport, load/unload etc
- Responsible to perform query optimization, database design and provide support in writing complex queries, stored procedures/functions, views, DDL/DML scripts review/feedback to other teams
