| Job Description: |
- Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized patients, through daily visits, consultations, and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding the discharge or transfer to other departments – in collaboration with other doctors- and informing patients and their families about the patient’s evolution.
- Performing diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound for the better assessment of patients when required.
- Collaborate with NBU and IPD departments for organizing patient flow, share detailed information with different departments, and be involved in patient-centered care.
- Involve in the referral process, decision-making, communication, and counseling.
- Help and support in follow up of patients in the referred external hospital for the continuity of care
- Be an integral part of counseling and communication with patients, attendants, and among the departments, for taking consent, sharing medical information to other doctors, referrals, and evolution of the patient to patient and family.
- Participating in ongoing training and teaching sessions to improve technical knowledge and skills.
- Participate in case discussions and design management plans in high-risk cases.
- Participate in hospital and departmental meetings.
- Be a part of MMR in collaboration with other doctors and paramedical teams, ex-pat technical referents, and managers.
