About the Opportunity:

Be a part of a team of highly talented engineers who are building platforms in Mobile space with Global reach to

• Enable payments by way of carrier billing and integrating with mobile operator based payment world wide
• Provide a platform to business partners to sell variety of subscription products and offer promotions
• Facilitate transactions for a popular in-house App store which lets users purchase and download mobile apps on Android, J2ME, and other platforms

Essential Job Duties:

• Under project lead / architect’s guidance carry out implementation activities as part of Billing Integration development;
• As an individual contributor -- Should be able to go through the charging Integration documents and design and implement as per requirements and product needs;
• Should be able to talk to external partners to drive and test integration tasks end to end.
• Assuming end to end responsibility including deployment and overseeing of the owned component in production;
• Handle escalations and effectively interact with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience of software design and development;
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Programming experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL;
• Experience in web technologies such as HTTP, Javascript, CSS, REST, JSON;
• Scripting languages like python, Shell scripts, JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies like EC2, Redis, Dynammo DB.;
• Good analytical, problem-solving, algorithmic skills;
• English language skills — both verbal and written.
• Comfort with Linux at usage level.
